opinion on the use of this chemical

i think that this chemical should be removed from the sunscreen ingreaent list because of all the harmfull efects it has on humans and the enviroment.
Dangers associated with this chemical and suggest precautions to follow. Ozybenzone can lead to skin cancer. Some precautions for skin cancer is actually sun screen, protective head gear, sun glasses and protective clothing. Oxybenzone is also linked to development or reproductive toxicity. This leads to infertility and reproductive cancers, also it can lead to birth defects and development delays in children. Some other dangers can be enhanced skin absorption which means it helps other chemicals penetrate the skin. Treatment for harmful exposure to the chemical. The only treatment that we found was a wastewater treatment but this only removes a fraction of the chemical. This means that the chemical will stay in your system for a very long time. :(
